Within the past year, I have become increasingly active with open source software. I have mostly been publishing projects I would previously have kept for myself, but I have tried to help with other projects. This is a summary of all of my GitHub projects. Repos under the SteinbrennerBlueHats organization were created by me as a project for the Steinbrenner Blue Hats technology club.
JoshOldenburg/joshuaoldenburg.com: The source of my personal website (what you are looking at).
JoshOldenburg/threadword: A solver for Thread Words, a Kindle game, written in Swift as a CLI tool
JoshOldenburg/dictcheck: A CLI tool to check words against the OS X system dictionary, written in Objective-C
JoshOldenburg/SkypeStatistics: A few
sqlitequeries that can be run on Skype’s local data store to get stats about your usage.
grunt-inittemplate for the MIT license. This is a feature-complete project.
grunt-inittemplate for a new article with metadata, located as needed for this blog.
fs.staton every file in a directory.
JoshOldenburg/node-ios-devices: JSON map of iOS device model codes (e.g. iPad2,1) to marketing names (e.g. iPad 2).
JoshOldenburg/dotfiles: My dotfiles.
JoshOldenburg/ipaddrutil: Miscellaneous IP address utilities.
JoshOldenburg/tmux-battery: Succinct CLI to the battery, used in my tmux bar.
JoshOldenburg/dirabbrev: Tool to abbreviate directory names for my tmux bar.
SteinbrennerBlueHats/wintermsith-bootstrap: This is a
grunt-inittemplate that generates a website using the Wintersmith static site generator, with a Bootstrap theme. This is used with slight modifications on this website and the website of the Steinbrenner Blue Hats. This repository should really be under @JoshOldenburg, but there are too many links pointing at @SteinbrennerBlueHats to change it.
SteinbrennerBlueHats/FlipTheClassroom-server: This is a basic static file server for the Flip the Classroom pilot project. There will eventually be a more detailed writeup about this project.
SteinbrennerBlueHats/bitc-configurator: This is a node.js utility that will configure a fresh Ubuntu install as needed for the Steinbrenner Blue Hats. This is incomplete, but will not be needed for another year, at which time it will be documented.
JoshOldenburg/<other random repos>: There are a handful of other repos under my name, but they are mostly forks.
JoshOldenburg-graveyard/: This org holds a bunch of old, unmaintained projects (some of which hosted elsewhere) that I didn’t want to delete because there are actually stars/watchers (gasp!).
